Wow, what an E3 for Nintendo this year. Starting off with their 25 minute presentation, we got confirmation for Rocket League on Switch, including cross-platform play, which is pretty sweet. We also got the announcement of the releases of the DLC packs for Zelda: BotW, and amiibo for all 4 champions in the game, which look very nice. We got some footage of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Arms, and Splatoon, along with the announcement of a new Kirby game for 2018 and a new Yoshi game, both of which look very fun and I can't wait for Kirby. By far the biggest announcement had to go to, wait for it... Metroid Prime 4! Yeah, you read that right, Metroid Prime 4 the Switch (bad puns are bad). Not to mention, we now know why AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake) was shut down by Nintendo, as we also are getting another Metroid game on the 3DS, titled Metroid: Samus Returns. It isn't quite a complete remake, more like a re-imagining of the game with new features, and 2 new amiibo of a Metroid and Samus in her pose from the cover of Metroid 2 for the Game Boy. Some other nice things were told as well, such as a main series Pokemon RPG is coming to the Switch next year, most likely Stars, which would be insane after having both Sun and Moon, and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, maybe too much Alola? Maybe it's the Diamond and Pearl remakes, as every console has gotten a set of remakes, making the Switch the only candidate to receive whatever Sinnoh remakes that may be on the way. Almost forgot to mention Fire Emblem Warriors, as it will be released in the Fall of 2017, also a great looking game. Sonic Forces also got a new trailer, and it's surprising that Shadow, Chaos, Metal Sonic, and Zavok (from Sonic Lost World if you remember him) are all working together, it seems like it's going to be one of the best Sonic games ever made. Lets all hope that it doesn't end up looking great and then failing like Sonic 06 or Sonic Boom. Lastly, we received news of a remake of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga with the added subtitle of: + Bowser's Minions. It looks harmless, and it's more Mario and Luigi, so that's great. That about raps it up for new games, let me know your thoughts her in this thread!

There are so many great games coming out over the next several months for Switch, I don't know where to start! Really exciting time to have a Switch. For those that haven't purchased one already, GET ONE ASAP. Great console. I actually haven't played anything else since I bought mine.

Mario Odyssey Looks AWESOME!!!!, I have to get Splatoon 2, The Metroid Announcements, a great looking Yoshi and Kirby game and a GOTY candidate in Breath of the Wild???? Not to mention fans of Pokemon getting some great news as well... Nintendo is hitting it out of the park in the first year of a console release for the first time IN A LONG TIME that I can remember them doing. That has always been my complaint about their console launches for at least the past several generations, a lack of great 1st party Nintendo franchise games.

Combine that with some great 3rd party titles coming to the system as well as the announcement of their online service only costing 20$ for a whole year with them giving access to online play for up to 3 Retro games every month really has me excited to see where this will all go.

Also...I wouldn't be surprised to see a Star Fox game on the Horizon for the console, since the WiiU version didn't get the best reviews.

It's nice to see that the Nintendo Switch is off to a great start when it comes to a variety of appealing games. Even though I might not ever buy a Nintendo Switch, I definitely will be curious about what the gameplay will be like on this new console. Hooray for YouTube!

I'd love to see a video comparing Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga to its remake once people get far enough in the game. It's my favorite game in the Mario & Luigi series!
