Marcario - "Alright, there's nobody here. Eirinn! Come on! Let's go find the group!"

There is no response, everything in the surrounding area is silent, besides the breeze.

Marcario - "Uh....where did he go? Well, might as well search what's left of the building, maybe I'll find him."

Marcario's curiosity peaks and he goes into Deg's room. He opens the first drawer he sees, and he finds a book with a magic lock on it. There is no way to open it. Marcario puts it in his inventory just in case it might be needed at a later point for something, and continues to explore the abandoned building.

**Dumb transition to Max and November**

November - "We've made it. I heard that this guy taught advanced magic for combat use. If we're going to stop Deg, we need to get stronger. MUCH stronger."

The door to the house opens, and out walks a man. The man gives the pair a quick look.

Laian - "Alright, come in."
November - "Just like that? You don't even know who we are."
Laian - "Your aura tells me you have good intentions. No more information is needed. Follow me outside the back door, to the training grounds."

Laian - "Alright, listen up. You will be at this exact spot every other day. The training you will undergo on those days will be like nothing you have ever done before, it will be absolute hell. If you're too scared, don't even bother training here."
November - "You sure you want to do this with me, Max?"
Max - "They killed my family and one of our best friends...I'll do anything it takes to get stronger."
November - "Alright."
Laian - "Trainees will be training with each other every training day. Inside the dorms you will meet your fellow trainees. Training officially begins tomorrow, so get some rest."

November and Max open the door to see several trainees roaming the building.

Zander - "NEWBS!"
Sull - "We have new trainees? Ugh."
Dylan - "Sull, you really need to lighten up. You're kind of killing my mood here."
Sull - "Tch."
Mags - "GUYS WE'RE OUT OF CARROTS!!!"
Furret - "WHAT!? WHO ATE THEM!? I WILL RIP THEIR HEART OUT!"
Max - "Uh..."
Day - "WILL YOU ALL SHUTUP!? WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN EVERYTIME WE GET NEW TRAINEES!? ZANDER, THAT IS INSULTING, GO SIT IN THE CORNER. SULL, GO TO SLEEP, AND TAKE YOUR EDGELORD PILLS. MAGS, STOP EATING EVERYTHING!"
Furret - "SO IT WAS YOU! I'LL KILL YOU!"
Day - "FURRET, CALM DOWN. I'LL GO BY THE STORE AND GET CARROTS TOMORROW, MY GOD."
Furret - "Yay!"
Day - *Sigh* "Sorry about that. They all get like that a lot. Hello, my name's Day. There's not much time to chat, so we'll talk more tomorrow. See ya!"

Max and November both go to their rooms, trying to forget all that had just happened in front of them.

November - "I'm sure we'll get used to them, eventually."
Max - "I sure hope so. Night, man."

*Dumb transition back to Marcario*

Marcario - doodoodoodoodododododododo la la la la
Bobby - "EXCUSE ME. PLEASE. SHUTUP."
Marcario - "OH CRAP! You're one of Deg's aren't you?"
Bobby - "Well, I was. But then my ass got kicked. So I decided this isn't really for me. So now I have no purpose in life."
Marcario - "Um...you wanna help me find my friends?"
Bobby - "Yes please. I need a purpose in life." :c

*One last dumb transition to Deg and his group.*

Eirinn - "Y'ALL BETTER LET ME GO Y'HEAR? I'LL GET YOU AND BAKE YA INTO A LICIOUS CHIKEN POT PIE YEEEEEHAWWWW"
Leggy - "Please....just shutup."
Eirinn - "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-"

Leggy puts scotch tape over Eirinn's mouth as well as a blindfold."

Leggy - "Finally."
Sonic - "Why didn't you just do that in the first place?"

Leggy slaps Sonic.

Deg - "Both of you, calm down. I'm trying to focus here."
ZeeTee - "You're going through trouble for nothing."
Deg - "What do you want? I didn't call you up here."
ZeeTee - "Remember that magic I told you I could use? The ancient magic? I understand you're trying to find a way to mind control Eirinn to make him one of your own. But you don't need to go through all this trouble since I have the ability to control him as my own puppet for as long as I want."

Deg - "Brilliant! Do it, then. I have other business to attend to. Leggy, follow me, please. Sonic, find the current location of those who oppose us."

*Really this time, last dumb transition to the destroyed forest where our heroes first fought Deg*

User is using telepathy to communicate with someone.

User - "This world is nice, trust me. You need to come visit. I understand that you've been bored lately and I have something that just might interest you. It'll be TONS of fun, trust me."

Zlinq - "Fine, fine, I'll be there. It better be good, though. Traveling through different worlds isn't always easy, you know?"
User - "Wonderful! I'll be seeing you."

User waves his fingers down, ending the telepathy.

Wonderful chapter as always! But will the crew finally get their chicken pot pie? That is the real question.

"Yes please. I need a purpose in life."
