After some time, some games and apps stop being updated. With new iOS versions and newer iPhones and iPads coming out, these older games can slow down newer systems, unless they are updated.

Unfortunately, I know quite a few games that have been abandoned by its own makers. ReRave Plus, Rhythm Control & Rhythm Control 2, and Zaccaria Pinball, all have received not a single update in 2 years. It's even worse with The Curse, which was not updated in 5 years!

I enjoyed my times playing the older games back when I still had my old iPad, but now that I have an iPad Pro with a newer iOS, I feel like I can't play the older games anymore without resorting to using my old iPad, and that one lags and tends to crash.

Does anyone know how to improve the compatibility of abandoned apps and games for newer software and hardware?
