I'm a 16 year old from Canada.

I love sports, in particular basketball (praying for the Raptors to not get stomped by the Bucks), baseball (praying for the Blue Jays to stop sucking) and I also like a bit of football (Dolphins, though I hate most regular season NFL).

I also enjoy gaming. Not as much as I used to but I play somewhat frequently. That includes retro games like Mega Man.

Learning a bit of coding. Python right now but I plan to move on to HTML when I have the time.

Speaking of time, I spend a lot of that on schoolwork so I likely wont post much. Or maybe I'll waste that precious time.....posting (or doing other time wasting activities like gaming or watching sports)!

I'm also a sports lover, but I lean more towards individual sports rather than teams. I absolutely love tennis, in which Canada has recently had a good bunch of players both in the men's and women's circuit, and I'm also a big fan of almost any kind of motorsports. Other than that, I follow less popular sports which rarely make it to the news beyond a handful of countries, all of them focusing on individual performers.

I'm sure you'll find enough time to come here and derp for a while be a bit active. Most of us active users where once like you, kind of insecure about being actually able to be active for long periods of time, yet we're all here enjoying this awesome community.

Hey there! Welcome to Vizxed, man.

I have to say, I was a little surprised to see that you like the Dolphins, both because I was expecting a Canadian league team, and because that's my dad's and brother's favorite team. I don't care for any sports really, except for golf. I like tennis, bockey, soccer and bowling, but not enough to actively seek out games to watch, whereas golf I watch every time I have a chance at all.
Bowever, I call myself a 49ers fan, but I don't really pay any mind to how they do. Basically all it means is that if I see them playing, I want them to win, and that's the extent of it.


So are you partial to retro games then, or are you like me and you prefer modern but also enjoy retro games as well?


As for Python, I've heard of it, but have no idea about what can be done with it. I work with C# and may learn html at some point... Maybe. How long have you been working with Python?

Eirinn : When I was choosing which team to root for I ruled out the teams closest to me. Lions and Browns because they sucked for so long and Bills because of Richie Incognito. I wound up picking the Dolphins because of their undefeated 1972 season.

I definitely prefer modern games to retro games. Retro games certainly have charm and addictive simplicity, but modern games I find more fulfilling.

I've been working with Python for about a month now. I was planning on making some games for it, until then I've been figuring out the basics like lists, arrays, etc.

Yuna1000 : I played a lot of Mega Man hacks back in the day. Since I've been taking up coding I have gained a slight interest in making my own- I'm not sure if and when I'll start, though.

Yeah, to be honest I have no idea why my brother and dad like them. All dad can tell me is that it's because his brothers liked them. Seems legit. lol

xD I honestly have no idea how the 49ers have been doing over the past several years. I don't know anything about sports, and I haven't kept up with any sport except Golf in...ever actually. haha

Ah, finally! Someone who agrees with me on the modern vs. retro issue! I grew up playing those games, and in fact the Atari VCS/2600 was the first system I played on, but I think gaming has only improved over the years. I still cling to some classics like Toejam & Earl, Bushido Blade (especially 2), and several others though. But as a whole, I'm definitely more of a modern gamer.

Oh making games? I'm actually making a few myself, or I will be as soon as my new PC gets here. Any idea what kinds of games you might make?

Welcome to the site! I like watching basketball, but I don't have cable so I don't watch it at all XD At least I get to watch a little bit of basketball, sometimes baseball, sometimes football, when I'm at a friend's house. But that's only a few times a year.

I'm glad to hear you like retro games because vizzed has more of them than you'll ever see anywhere else! It also has tons of hacks of retro games to keep users interested. The hacks are what brought me here in the first place!
