it has been brought to my attention the the version of the minish cap that has been submitted to the site is the european version, which is known as a bug filled beta version of the game.
I have experienced these bugs and therefore the game cannot be completed.
Apparently theres an american version that is bug free, and I would love to play it.
the minish cap is actually a wonderful game that I recommend everyone play, but only play the american version or you will be disappointed that all your progress is for naught like I currently am.

Actually, the game breaking bugs are only part of VBA, so you should be able to complete the game if you use Mednafen.

I tried it a while back and got past a lot of the crash areas (temple of droplets, attic in the store in castle town)

I never completed the game 100% using Mednafen but only because I switched to a different emulator (specifically a standalone VBA and a new ROM, though I also tried it on GBA emulators for Wii and PSP and it worked fine)

In short, it's solely a compatibility issue with VBA and should work fine if you want to start over on Mednafen. Obviously your save won't transfer but I dunno.
