So yeah, disappointed as I am with the lackluster RPing in this forum I decided to create my own. In this thread I will type down some few rules and information for anyone wanting to join this RP once it starts.

First off comes the rules and regulations:

1. NO CHARACTERS NOT MADE BY YOURSELF. This is a big one, you cannot RP mega man or solid snake or naruto or whatever, being inspired by a existing character is fine, but it has to be mostly original.

2. You have to fit in, you'll be RPing in my world and there's some limitations on technology and magic and such in it, of course, you can always ask if your character is fine for use, I'll be happy to help out.

3. No god modding. You're not overpowered and cannot go teleport and blow s*** up randomly and blablabla, keep your attacks and actions reasonable.

4. RP to the best of your ability, I won't expect absolute perfect RPing, but try to do it to the best of your ability.


Now for some info and s***.

So what's this RP about? Well, it surely isn't about something epic like SAVE THE WORLD or DEFEAT THE OPPRESION or OUR PRINCESS IS KIDNAPPED. You're actually gonna end up inside the city of "Tolena" right after a revolution overthrew the previous government, so there's pretty much a lot of rebuilding to do. So what are your characters gonna do?

Well, you're gonna be Rahans, a Rahan is pretty much an adventurer, taking care of eveerything from assassinations to simple construction of buildings, pretty much anything that could be needed. NOW being a Rahan is actually NOT required, you can create a character and then deny the Rahan offer, but then you'd be s*** out of luck when it comes to getting money and a place to stay and you'll be pretty much f***ed.


So anyways, any questions go in this thread, you can also say any characters you would like to RP in here, but it's not required.

The RP would start at monday if everything goes as planned.



So questions and proposals and characters you wanna play and whatever go here.


Don't worry if you don't understand everything written here, I'll gladly explain it.

Dude, this looks awesome! I can't wait! I sign up, and I wanna use Jack Aburai (call him Aburai). He uses a ninja sword, can reflect a few bullets (only enough that he doesn't get shot up when trying to take cover), he has 10 shuriken that he carries around, a kunai, and an emergency smoke bomb. He can also perform low-level magic, though it takes it's toll on him. He loses energy (as in going from happy happy joy joy to blurry vision and barely being able to stand) though.

Man, I hope everything goes as planned, because this'll be awesome

Yeah, he's perfect for it, we'll just make sure that he has something to actually direct the magic trough.


Because no magic is allowed to be used without a catalyst for it. But we could make it something simple like your sword.

Ohhhh... he also has a shuriken pouch that holds his shuriken, kunai and smoke bomb. Could that work as well?

Yup, yup can't see why not.

It's even perfect for somethings in the RP, but we'll get to that later.

specialty:
1. bows and arrows, swords ( not long swords ).
2. martial arts ( secondary )

She's a bit silent but a warm little girly, by the way, she's as old as me in real life.

She can cast water and icy spells using her necklace, and sometimes her sword and arrows, but after she uses a spell, it'll drain her energy a lot, i mean, A LOT, like she wont have enough strength to run or even walk. So she depends on her weaponry and martial arts almost all the time when it comes to battles and such. Her spells are only effective for a short amount of time.

He carries a bow bag to carry the sword around, he is hoping to earn some money in order to buy some stuff.

He has no magic (magic is overrated).
He is pretty smart, he is also hyper, but not like a monkey I know of .

I guess Crono will join too since he's seen this thread for a while. I will use "Nick Plotcher" he's mostly called Nicki.

Weapons:Katanas, Martial Arts, and swift boxing.
Other than that he is kind hearted but a little dark at times.

Juliet: Perfect character there, you might just need a bag/pouch/anything to hold stuff in, or you could just buy on in the RP. Also, your magic will be restriced to when you actually have items with the magic on them, no magic is to be used without a catalyst, but your necklace can work perfectly for that.

Didowe: Rather thin but nothing objectionable, just not that he is not a Rahan YET, as all of you will begin the RP with applying to beocme Rahans.

Crono: See what I said about Didowe.


Anyways, that's four, imma wait a few more days and see if we get a fifth player or I'll just start it, I'll keep this thread open for any and all question both before and during the game.

Hell, I'll join. My character's name is Zapp Rowsdower, a drunk and beefy hero.

Weapons: Uses martial arts, but occasionally will use his knife for protection.

Sounds exactly like Aburai when he does spells

Also, I forgot to mention that Aburai's father is a martial artist, and his mother is a ninja (well, knew the skills to be, anyway). But wow, what restricted creativity I see here. Everybody here wants to be Aburai, except for Kamiri and Zapp

Naah, she isnt a ninja at all, and all that she can control are the ice and water elements. Her sword isnt a katana and martial arts is only her secondary skill ( when there is no other choice and when she has no weapons, then that's the time when she'll use martial arts )

As for anyone wanting to join after this is started FEEL FREE, just make sure you post here to get a good place to start first.


Also just so everyone has a double check: NO MAGIC UNLESS YOU HAVE CATALYSTS, a catalyst is pretty much an item that enables you to use magic, so for juliet's case her necklace and sword and arrows will all be water element catalysts. So yeah, you can use magic, just ask here first so I can figure out the catalyst.


Edit: thread posted, anyone wanting their character to become a Rahan should just follow the steps (fill form, out in bin, take a seat in chair) becoming a Rahan is highly recommended, if anyone wants to do something else then just contact me and we can work it out.

Edit3: For your intros you can do it the easy way or hard way. Easy way is saying that you were born in Tolena or have amneisa. hard way is contacting me to get m ore backstory so you can get an interesting intro.
