Hi guys.

So i'm considering laying down Vizzed or being inactive and go to the chat room and Discord... And why? Well, there is a forum i'm a local moderator of. Luigi442wii made it, and invited me there. I was promoted pretty quickly and now am spending my time more likely there than on here. Luigi442wii made his forum on exactly the same way Vizzed is made, but obviously looks entirely different. 

Anyway, i now am deciding whether i should stay inactive and just enter Discord + Comet Chat or just leave Vizzed completely. What should i do?

It's your choice.

If you want to leave this site permanently and not speak to any of us again, go ahead.

If you want to keep talking to your friends (or only friend, since you made it clear yesterday that the only friend you have is Tama) but don't have the motivation to post here anymore, go ahead and talk only on chat or discord.

Also put into consideration that a handful of people here like you and will miss you greatly if you left the site, and they probably even consider you as a friend, even if you didn't think of them as one. We won't stop you if you want to leave the site.

Managing a high degree of activity in more than one site can be hard sometimes, but honestly I don't think you should leave completely.

The only reason why you should leave completely is if you don't have the will to be here anymore. As long as there's something that keeps you here and doubtful of leaving, you should stay. Otherwise, most probably you will regret having left while you were still fond of something you cannot find elsewhere.

You say you want to reach 1000 posts. That personal milestone on itself is enough to keep you glued to this site, and since you're actually quite close to it you should aim for it. After that, if you don't have any other milestone in mind you would actually try hard to achieve, go inactive and be just in the chats. It's better if you gradually reduce your activity rather than leaving entirely to clear your doubts about leaving or staying, and it's better to leave after you realize you don't enjoy this site anymore rather than leaving and return soon after because you realized you missed this site.

That's my personal opinion, but the decision is yours. I hope I didn't make things harder for you with this small rant of mine

Just do what you want.

While people on Vizzed will miss you, in the end it's your choice whether you want to stay or leave. Nothing's forcing you to come here.

And you could always just check on Vizzed once in a while to check up on what's happening around Vizzed, like me.

I guess I always get confused with why people make these types of threads. Like somehow what anyone says here is going to change their minds?

Truth is, the only person that can make this decision is you. If you feel like you really don't have the time, and the only reason you would come here is out of some sort of strange obligation, then I would advise just going inactive. If you truly like it here and want to visit, then I advise you do that. It's not like coming on here and making a few posts really will take that much of your time up as I'm sure the traffic on Luigis site isn't that high yet as it's just starting out. In the end, just do what YOU think is best.

Honestly, Jordan and Zero summoned up everything. If you wanna leave, you wanna leave. We'll miss having another poster, but your life goes on. If you've moved on from vizzed, like so many before, so be it. 

You can always come back though, just saying. If you decide to log in, you can, no problem! Whatever your choice, is what happens, nothing I say or do will change that! Hope everything works out for you, and maybe you can still get that 1,000 word count before you go inactive...

i can guess what will happen. You'll mostly or altogether quit Vizzed.com, go out and really enjoy the website, and maybe in a few months or half a year just peek back in and see what's going on here.

And you know what? It'll be the same stuff. It'll be threats about transgendered people and what's your favorite Pokémon and what are you eating, doing, thinking, etc.

It starts to run together. And that's okay that you're excited to move on and try something else. Let me be the first to whole-heartedly support what you want. You're fired up and you're looking (if I'm guessing correctly) for someone to say, "Go, we are fine here, you have adventures with new friends and it's okay."

Guess what? It's okay. Vizzed will be around, it won't die without you, and we'll keep things moving. Have fun, go learn more about yourself and others, develop your skills, be active in a thriving community, and go execute with love.

Do it. I'm not trolling or being sarcastic. Go create and build. I have no idea how that site will be different since it will appeal to same type of people, but take the opportunity to be on the inside and be one of the major power players there.

To answer Jordanv78's post, it's not that big (around 15-20 members visit daily), although the activity rate of the users is rather high, usually resulting in 100+ posts per day, better than most of the well-known ABXD/Acmlm websites that have been around for years on end and are trusted.

Ghostbear1111 : I whole heartedly agree with you, as Vizzed become to me exactly as you described it, and I moved on just as you are suggesting to MarioLucarioFan64. I still peek in and see how things are, but I've mostly just moved on to Reddit, Competitive Smash, and Discord servers. I don't regret leaving and being very inactive a single bit, but I do like seeing how the place I spent my young internet years is doing.
