There have been a few threads lately, notably the pornography thread and the feminism thread, that seemed to engage people and appeal to their emotions in conjunction with logic.

I'm curious. What gets your emotions going? Does watching sad videos do it for you? Or watching military families re-unite at schools or sporting events? Maybe watching puppies falling asleep makes you happy.

What gets you going with your emotions? They can be happy, sad, angry, anything. What gets them up?

Dogs are my weakness. I personally own a dog and the amount of love you get from them is unreal. They don't have any negative thoughts and just want to be loved.

If I see a video of a dog doing something funny, I'll be overjoyed and laugh.
If I see a documentary or a video of an abandoned or abused dog I will cry. It's one of the only things that can reduce me to a sad, crying mess.


I have no respect for people who treat their dog like s***. I'm not an aggressive person but I'd punch them in the face whenever I get the chance.
