I’m really glad to be making short stories again! Here’s how this will work: it will be like cartoons that have episodes. There will be somewhat of a plot to make it interesting, but it will mostly just resemble a cartoon. This is just the intro for the series, describing all the characters. Just warning you that I’m not planning this all out in advance, some of it I have but it will mostly be me coming up with things as I go. I have no idea why this idea about people being desperate to become famous popped up in my head but I like where this idea is going with my series and hopefully all the vizzed users reading this will too! Fun fact: this intro was made in one day! Feel free to leave feedback, I promise not to flip out. I might not consistently put a ton of effort into this but it is really fun so far.

Desperate for Fame Intro

My name is Collin and I’m desperate for fame. Yes, I just said the series title in the first sentence. And yes, I’m breaking the fourth wall. But who cares. I’m going to tell these little stories however I want and it’s your job to DEAL WITH IT, haha. Anyway, about me. I’m 15 years old and freshman in high school. I live in the USA! My brother, Calvin, goes to the same school which makes things rather interesting. I’ll talk more about him later since I told you I was going to talk about me. I don’t care what anybody thinks about me but I still desperately want to be famous. What for? My skill with skateboarding and jumping and flipping and not falling onto my face on giant trampolines.

I hope you found that last sentence funny. If becoming famous for that stuff doesn’t work, I’d like to become famous for my sense of humor. Travelling around the country to tell jokes sounds like a lot of fun. Not quite as fun as skateboarding and jumping and… you get the idea. Now it’s time to talk about my twin brother, Calvin. I agree with my parents that his name sounds similar to mine and it’s easy to get us confused since we’re twins, but that was THEIR choice! Their suggestion that we wear nametags at home and at school (even though our schedules are supposedly decided randomly, we’re in ALL the same classes haha) was very funny but I don’t know if it would work. After the first few days, everyone would get used to seeing us with nametags on and then the nametags would get ignored.

Calvin is also 15 years old and a freshman in high school. He goes to the same school as me, just in case you didn’t believe me the first time. We were born on the same day and look the same (except for one zit on his forehead, which is covered by his hair). In case you don’t believe me about looking the same, I’ll give a few examples. Our hair is the same length, we both don’t have glasses, our eyes are both blue, and we’re both tan. It is summertime right now after all. However, Calvin’s personality is different from mine. Our common interests are similar at least. He also desperately wants to be famous. What for? His “tricks” which are really lame according to everyone except himself and me. He’s improving and I’m helping him because I see great potential in him!

So I have a brother who’s also my twin. But wait, there’s more! I have a younger sister named Sally. Wow is she the weird one of our bunch! (Don’t answer that, it’s a rhetorical question and I haven’t told you about her yet.) She’s 13 years old and 7th grader. She’s going through a lot of change this year, good and bad. Mostly bad. For example, she pretends to forget that homework is a thing. She doesn’t have to worry about that now. It’s summertime, in case you couldn’t believe me the first time.

She also has an amazing dedication to our TV. Calvin and I don’t like that thing. It’s a waste of time unless we’re watching the weather. Just kidding, that’s a waste of time too. We go outside no matter the weather unless it’s dangerous. Sally, like us, desperately wants to be famous. What for? Her writing skills. They’re impressive for someone her age. She writes better than me. I mean, I don’t care much about how I write and I’ve written a few fragments already in this introduction of us. But once again, I’m writing these little stories however I want and it’s still your job to deal with it. I’m impressed that you’ve read this far. I’m not, however, if you just skimmed down to this part. Cheater!!!

Our parents, the ones who made me and Calvin’s names both start with a C (those geniuses) are the owners of a cleverly named restaurant named Rockin’ Ravioli (those geniuses, I now say without sarcasm). It’s clever because our last name is Rock. Their restaurant allows employees who like music to play rock music for the customers to watch. They’re talented! Someday maybe one of us will do that too, if we ever come up with interest in any instruments. Our parents work 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. Our dad is able to give us homework help if we stay up late enough. Sometimes we have to stay up until midnight just to know how to solve for x. If you ask me, that’s dedication, especially to something like algebra! Calvin and I get good grades, but Sally’s grades have been slipping. She only gets them up when our parents ground her from the TV and throw the TV out of the window. I was only exaggerating about that second part.

Our parents also desperately want to be famous. Our dad wants to be famous for his delicious recipes that he serves at his restaurant and at home. Our mom wants to be famous for songs that she and her friends have created, some of which Rockin’ Ravioli’s rockin’ band plays!

I’ll end this off with a fun fact. Calvin, Sally, and I stay together almost everywhere we go, except for school obviously. Sally won’t be at our school for 2 more years. Well, that’s all you need to know about us for now. I can finish writing this and go do stuff, WAHOO!
