I'm sure that most of us knows how to enjoy a game with the story, dark or pure, twist plot or sick plot, art and design, laziness and retardeness, gameplay and visuals, rpg and click and point. But.......
"That's not the case here".......
So, at some point, there is something else that triggers a sudden change of events that changes all of the above, the game is finished, or there is some part that stooped you and you don't want to unleash your frustration on the poor console, computer, phone, portable. And its ok, in fact, its a very mature thing to do, its really cool to keep your cool even at the most triggering and challenging moments........
But that's just a small and very skinny and weak thread line....
Let me give you a good example: You are playing a good old school game like Roller Coaster Tycoon (ah!, right in the childhood!), you're giving your best with everything you got to met the expectation's set before the deadline. But you spot negative commentaries on the visitors, many others are puking and giving your cleaners a hard time, vandalism is hard to stop even with strong security or maybe the visitors are just lying, and then suddenly. "You lost interest". But at that right moment something else emerges inside you, that my friend is "Evil", its ok, don't panic, that's the result of getting sick of being threatened like trash, like if all of those little snurfs doesn't even appreciate the hard work, not even the custom made attractions!.
And then, a delicate yet malefic smile appears in your face as a new energy of motivation takes control of your arms, your hands get close to the mouse and keyboard and you start to build a brand new attraction. There are some spins, some rolls, some high adrenaline curves and "Voala!". A brand new masterpiece made from the heart was made, suddenly some visitors enter the ride, the prices are low (What a steal, oh you!), the ride stars, they keep going up, and up, and up, and way up to the sky, they take a curve, and then it goes down like a bullet, the speed and force of the wagons, the air pressure against your guts, the wind playing with your face, they go up, they go left, they do barrel rolls, they are upside down, they are having the day of their lifes.
Finally the "coup de grâce", its about to happen near the end of the ride, they slow down but still way up while taking a last turn, they cant see whats next until a sudden fall occurs and the adrenaline invades their bodies and souls like the best day of their damn lives!. Then they keep going forward and before they could even guess it........
"They were going straight on the main road"
Oh god!, its just to perfect to be true you despicable person, they changed their smiles with shocked faces, their laughs for screams, they couldn't even close their eyes since the air pressure keep their already risen up arms to stay in their place, the horror, the final moments before in just a mere seconds. They crashed with every single person in front of them all the way to the entrance and hit with a weird, yet realistic sound and exploding in the act.
"Oh my god!" you scream out loud, "Holly sh*t!!!" you say, "This is amazing and astonishing right!?. They didn't see it coming and the alerts and warnings doesn't hesitate on appear and tell you that you just have obliterated some virtual begins from existence. And you liked it, you loved it, you WANTED to do it. And man that was a feeling of power above the weak that you couldn't forget. That power to change everything while playing. What if instead of being stealth, you exterminate everyone like a purge day, what if instead of driving nice you go all "Carmagedon" style!?, what if instead of giving back the lost penguin, you throw it on the edge of the map!, if instead of using a legendary dragon shout you send flying everyone near you!. That my friend, is something that happens every time when you are just "bored".
This, is only a mere part of a simple experience, for some short, for some good, for some bad, for some crazy. But even so, this thread has its doors open to receive more stories, more experiences, more and absolute madness that was so fun to never forget and it will be always there to give you that "clic" on your gaily gaming life.
