What was/is the most useless thing you've encountered?

The title should be pretty clear so far. What is or was the most useless thing you've ever encountered so far in your life? It can be anything: You can say it was a weird conversation, an inside joke no one gets or something else. It can also be an object you saw, like something unusual you've encountered in the public trash can. (To me, that was a broken RC Ferrari car) So... What was it?

To me (and no, i did not tell it already) it would be a video on YouTube where someone counts to 100,000 in one video. But a moment where ate up a lot of spicy trash can be a close second. (Yes, i literally did that once. I have video's of that moment too)

I saw the thumbnail for that same video, but that's not the most useless thing I've ever seen. There is this guy on Youtube who streams himself sitting for 5 hours or so. Just sitting and smiling into the camera. That's it. I'm not even kidding. There's even one instance in one of the videos where a guy broke into his house, creaked the door open, and said, "Hello?". The intruder just stared at the guy smiling at his computer for a few seconds before changing his mind on robbing his house. The guy sitting there didn't do anything, it was hilarious. If I was that robber, I would be pissing myself.

Honestly I would say notebooks. They weren't all like this, but now all you need is a laptop and you can take all of the notes that you can use. I buy a few notebooks every semester now but by the time each semester ends I usually just throw them out because I never used them at all. Soon enough notebooks will just disappear, especially for older students.
