Were almost there, to enter a brand new year of......well....the same stuff once the special days are over but nevertheless, maybe some of you have some game that you want to try, to beat, some enemy or boss that cleaned the vizzed floor with your butt, secrets that you still have to discover without cheats, speed run streams for completing a game, or even "Blinded", some other user, that destined rival you want to beat so badly.

Many things are which makes us feel the love of gaming, the competition online, the joy of playing online with some friends, even those who even decide to try to archive and earn more Viz than anyone else with cold calculations and negotiations on the sellings, make the best layout ever made, the best stories in the art and role play forum, meet new people to talk about Pokémon go although there is even people who streams with an emulator with less than zero damns given, but lets stop there.

So, if you already read this and have some goal or challenge that you want to beat, a friend or rival that you want to surpass or anything else. Then step forward and scream to everyone "Who are you", and "What is or what are your goals for the upcoming 2017!".

I plan on actually getting a darn Wii and then actually modding the thing and then actually being able to play all of the games on the Wii and GameCube for once.

Anyone who knows me well knows I'm a big trophy nut, and an even bigger PlayStation fan. That said, I've been thinking of setting some goals that wouldn't interfere with real life — things I might be able to accomplish with my regular amount of play time. Why not, right? After all it's no different than trophy runs. They're all about challenging yourself.

So my goals would probably be something like:
•Earn three or four Platinum trophies
•Earn at least 600 trophies
•Finish every game I got for Christmas 2016, except Duel Masters which I'll play more casually
•Play every game I currently have installed at least once (since I have some that I've yet to touch)
•Finish Platinuming the Nathan Drake Collection
•Platinum a PS Vita game

That should be more than enough. I'm working on all but the next to last one right now by playing Sword Art Online: Lost Song. Unfortunately one trophy refuses to pop (Super Player), and I can only assume that I have to accomplish it on my first try instead of on a return to it. I don't have any specific goals. I've become pretty big on trophies but I think I'll have to severly cut down on my gaming the further I get into the semester so I won't really have the time to go for them seriously. Once the summer rolls around I might have more time to go for different goals. I guess for now my only goals would be to play more of the games I already have because I've amassed a pretty big PS4 collection at this point and my PS3 collection is growing as well lol. I plan on getting Kingdom Hearts 2.8, Persona 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2  next year so I guess those can all count as goals. I guess maybe aim for platinuming a Kingdom Hearts game since it's one of my favorite franchises and I recently got 1.5 and 2.5 remix for the PS3. EIther one of the games from those (probably 2 or BBS since the other requires multiple playthroughs, and since I've yet to play the latter) or DDD from 2.8. That and hitting level 99 on Overwatch. Assuming I haven't burned out on the game by then that should come from regular play.

My main goals for 2017 would be to beat as many of the Persona games as I can. I hope to bet getting Persona 5 soon, and along with that, I have 3 others that I have yet to beat, and hopefully I can also get a few of the older ones that I can start to work on.

I want to pass 125,000 GamerScore and complete 5 games (100% achievements on XBOX) before the end of the year. I think that those are reasonable goals that I can actually obtain, yet will actually have to work for instead of just cruising by to get them.

Seeing as I will be getting a gaming laptop soon (old laptop broke and I found one for a relatively cheap price) I can add a new goal to my relatively small list lol. Get back into MMOs or specifically an MMORPG. I've been having an itch for a long time since it was long ago since I actively played one. I'm looking at trying Elder Scrolls Online since I'm a huge fan of the series. Despite hearing a lot of negative things about the game, it seems to have improved a ton since its launch. Hopefully it does not disappoint.

One goal I have is to actually 100% complete a game. I never actually done that before. The closest I got was Kirby Triple Deluxe at 98%. I don't know which game I'm going to complete, but hopefully I complete something eventually.

I'm currently saving up for an entry level gaming laptop. Nothing too fancy really, it's just that I don't have the space to build a desktop and that I'm usually out of town during weekends (either visiting the summer house or travelling somewhere else) and I'd love to still be able to play some games even if I'm not in my unit.

My goal is to finally play all my AAA backlogs on Steam. The last time I've been able to have some quality play time using pc was when I was still in highschool (16 yrs old. Senior high), and I'd like to catch up on everything I've missed now that I'm finally done with college and currently searching for my first real job.

I'll start saving for a laptop once I get a job. For now though, everything that I've saved up my whole life up until this point like my spare allowances, side projects etc. would go towards my life savings and would be kept untouched unless there's an emergency. After all, my parents usually remind me that they're purposely giving me more than enough allowance monthly so that I can start learning how to manage my finances, and it's not all for spending.

I thought of another big goal for me after playing Pokemon Sun for a bit yesterday. Throughout the year I want to try to get as many Shinies as I can in Sun, and by that I mean either catch them in the wild or simply trade for them. I wouldn't mind getting at least 5 in total, seeing as I already have one, but my dream would be to get at least 10.

But the other goal is to finish the huge stack of games that I have to finish.  That being said, I am no where near to finishing that goal, and I don't foresee it happening any time soon.

I've been playing FFXV for over 60 hours now and I will probably play the game for another sixty, since I read there's a lot to do after you beat the game. The platinum trophy isn't too hard to get but that's my goal as well. Beating Adamantoise scares me a little bit but what I've heard is that if you're patient it won't be too tough of a battle.
I'm also looking forward to new PS4 releases, since I don't want to have just one game now that I actually own the console.

ElDaves : Get back into mlg tournements,I used to be in competitive play I really wanna get back into that this year especially since they updated the app to were you can schedual tournement and ladder match on your phone now,to win a tournement would be absolutely amazing,competitive is something I always strive for because I love challenges.

For Christmas I got an NES Classic Edition. My goal for this year is to complete all 30 games on the system. As for the games that are score based, my goal for them is to achieve a score over 100,000 points.
