I know, I know, Christmas themed video games are notorious for being awful, but I like to play them still, at least at this time of year. However I'm in a bit of a spot this year when it comes to finding some to play, as I can't think of any.


So I'm turning to you guys for some suggestions: could you give me the names of some Christmas themed games that are at the very least tolerable? These games MUST run on one of the following systems:

•SEGA Genesis
•Nintendo 64
•GameCube
•DS/3DS
•PlayStation
•PlayStation 2
•PlayStation Vita
•PlayStation 4

Also bear in mind that some digital PSP games run on PS Vita as well, so feel free to suggest those, but if you do so, please indicate that they're PSP games so I know that they may not run on Vita.


Additionally I'll take Android (phone, not tablet) game suggestions IF they are fun and free.

Goldeneye could be considered a Christmas game. In level 2 the bad guys are dressed up like elfs Also, link is dressed up like an elf too so maybe Zelda Ocarina of time. Or you could just listen to some Christmas music during the games.

Play Home Alone for the Sega Genesis. It's so good that the AVGN reviewed it.

JigSaw : The N64 GoldenEye? I'm trying to tell if that was a joke because I've played that game several times over and don't recall that. lol

That list is appealing because, terrible as they are, I have a love for Christmas games. Unfortunately none of those games are for a system I have here with me (I personally own all of the ones listed except the N64 and 3DS that I'd play the DS and 3DS games on), and I don't emulate games anymore so that list won't work for me unfortunately. :/


taterii : That was one I actually planned on getting if no one made any suggestions. I played the GBA version years ago. I sense some sarcastic humor about the game's awfulness in there I think...I enjoyed it though, for what it was anyway. lol


Baritron : "AVGN reviewed it". That alone gives me so much hope. Lol I remember trying that one briefly once. As I recall it was less than amazing, but I should be able to get into it still. I enjoyed Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde after all. xD
