I ran into a problem in pokemon glazed. I need help

When I played glazed last night I got to the snowy town, saved and quit playing. I just tried playing again a few mins ago and right before the game got to the main menu I got a message saying my save is corrupt and that my previous save will be loaded which put me back at mt. stratus. The problem I'm having is, the game won't let me battle the pikachu, so I'm unable to get my badges! Is there a way to fix this stupid problem? If I seriously have to start all over then I'm wasting another minute on this game
