Hey guys and gals its generalspleen or Shawn back after years. And I'm pleased to share this with you guys as well. It's been so long since I've been able to write anything because of writers block. BUT now that I'm changing my life for the better I thought why not bring back poetry. So I did. I don't have a name for this poem yet so feel free to give me name ideas. I did take some inspiration from yui who sang "again" which is an opening to full metal alchemist and Tommy heavenly6's song papermoon which is an opening to soul eater. I tried my best but I'm not sure how it turned out. Please be brutally honest and let me know what you all think. Any feedback is greatly appreciated and welcome. I do plan on making more poems in the near future so be prepared for those as well. I hope you enjoy and I'll see you in the next post. :





For you, I would steal the stars and lay them at your feet
So we could own the night and hold our black paper moon.
Under the midnight glow your beauty shines as we meet
Look above ‘cause you belong up there beside the shining moon.

You cast a spell sweeter then the crimson jam. Taste it and you get one wish…
So mold your destiny with those hands of yours. Avoid the witch’s evil dish.
But whatever you do, don’t try and cast a spell on me. You’ll never win. You’ll never break me.
Because as much as I hate to admit it you already bewitched me.

Its true, without you, there are nights I told myself that I could live on in dusk and darkness
But somehow you reached me.
It’s your voice that calls to me when I fall…
You are my savior…

For you, I would steal the stars and lay them at your feet
So they could light a path to guide you home.
If your ever lost and lose your way… look up. You will be ok. So wipe those tears away.
When your lost… here I am with your soul to guide you home.

I can see it in your eyes. Don’t give me that look. Because you see…
You’re the last person I need to pity me.

Crying wont pave a way to forgiveness. Every sin you carve is everlasting.
I am lost in a maze of emotion. Now tell me who am I waiting for now?

These blank pages in your notebook have become a plea to regain fallen virtue.
All this time, you have been trying to run away from your own reality.

There’s still so much here. It’s a life worth living. And in time those feelings will drown out.
It’s so nostalgic. I wonder… Maybe all the love is worth the pain.

Okay, i finally got around to reading it. And I have to say.. even though i'm not exactly a poem expert, i really liked this one. It was really beautifully done, and i think you did really well. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them from you!
