I was doing random research and I found a few cool facts about Pokemon Sun and Moon. Did you know that on it's first day, it sold more than 10 Million copies from just pre orders and day one purchases? That number should be even higher by now, after out for 5 days.

That 10 Million also put the game as the 7th best selling game in 3DS history, which is already more than 60% of X and Y's 3DS record. Some people even say it could become not just the biggest 3DS game in history, but also the 4th biggest Pokemon game ever and one of the 15 biggest Nintendo games within just one month of release.....

It's also been the biggest pre release game in Nintendo history and one of the most pre ordered games of the decade.

I've stopped playing Pokemon thanks to time restraints, but from what I've seen in previews of this game, it's probably the most polished and refined game so far. It's absolutely new and fresh, which is what Nintendo needed after the catastrophe of a game Pokemon GO was. I'm not shocked at all at the bustling success of S/M.

I think it's well deserved. X and Y were hyped up so much but were a complete letdown.

Sun and Moon have been a blast so far, been a while since I've enjoyed a main series game as much as this one. Not to mention that I'm actually struggling to keep up with the trainer levels (I refuse to use to exp share).

Hope it will hit top 3 at least, if not higher.

I think the 2-3 week early leaks of the game and the waves of console and NNID bans following it from n00bs going online before release becoming big news breaking out of the 3ds hacking scene may have help contributed with that hype somehow.
