The most practical items to have are the T-shirts and hats mainly because of the merchandise jump it would bring to the site and than later build up with items like a controller and such to see if the activity would build up on the site.

I would probably buy some retro controllers and usb adapters. i bought a psxps2 adapter that connects 2 controllers for about 5 bucks including shipping and enjoy it and have been wanting ones for other systems. P.S also maybe some accessories for old systems like super gameboy or some of the ram expansion paks for n64 since more companies are making them now.
