I recently finished watching ProJared's Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Randomizer play through and later NintendoCapriSun's. I found the concept to be very entertaining, Jared's more so than NCS's partly due to the luck of the draw each had (NCS got extremely lucky while Jared kept getting 10 arrows ) and partly due to my preference for Jared's style of commentary and voice over NCS's, and agree that it adds life to games where the players may know them inside and out like LttP.

The randomizer for LttP can be found on GitHub and one for Legend of Zelda NES can be found here! Shuffle where your items are usually found and play an old game in a new and unique way!

I just thought I'd add onto this by also linking the Super Mario World Randomizer because it seems kind of related.

As for either of the zelda randomizers, I've yet to beat either of the games so I haven't tested them, but I did see a little bit of ProJared's playthrough and I have to say, it's a pretty exciting thing. Randomization is something I crave, so it's nice to play around with stuff like this.

I once tried this thing out, I remember him having a lot of trouble finding items such as the bow and the hookshot, but I found them before I entered the first dungeon, along with tons of other items and about 8 Heart Pieces. It did take me like forever and a half to find the Pegasus Boots, Zora Flippers and the Book of Mudora. But I had a lot of fun with this.

(LP channel of The Completionist) are also now starting to publish onto YouTube their own playthrough of randomized A Link to the Past available early to their GameWisp subscribers and they sound like they're having a blast. It's entertaining stuff to watch, that's for sure!
