Hello there. It's been a bit of a while since I've been here.

Anyway, I was looking a little into preordering Sun/Moon but I can't find anything about the version exclusives--does anyone know?

So far, beyond the legendaries, we only have two things about version exclusives.

One is an exclusive primate Pokemon. In Sun, it's a Fighting type called Passimian with an all new ability called Receiver, which allows it to gain the ability of any ally that may faint. In Moon, it's a Normal-Psychic dual-type called Oranguru. I'm not mentioning its abilities since they're not new, but beyond that, we know nothing else about them.

The other thing is a version exclusive evolution. A new Pokemon called Rockruff can evolve into two versions of Lycanrock. In Sun it's the Midday form, and in Moon is the Midnight form. The latter seems to resemble Zoroark, but still there's no difference in typing. The Midday form can gain a new ability that Rockruff doesn't have, but beyond that we know nothing yet.

There's not much information on anything else exclusive to each version, so it's very early to properly make a choice. The only sure thing is that one happens entirely during the day and the other one entirely during the night, with the corresponding changes in the game's story that are bound to happen.

I'm not entirely sure I'm excited for any of the version exclusives to be honest... It's more or less just a slight modification. If anything I'd have to go with the midday form of lycanrock. Otherwise it just seems utterly pointless and boring.

Eh...considering they're the same game, I would just put my money in the one that has pokemon that I like, but I guess I'll just order Moon.

Moon sounds cooler.
