Not to get into a genre war, but I wouldn't consider Bullet For My Valentine any type of heavy metal, to me they are melodic hardcore/emo. As for good heavy metal songs, it is safe to assume that you enjoy or may enjoy melodic metalcore, so here are my favorite songs from each melodic metalcore band that I enjoy:
