tbh i'm not nearly as happy bout comin home as i thought i'd b 

i mean i love my friends n fam but i wish i could just scoop em up and bring em to canada w/ me bc i kind of just realized that it's mostly them i miss and not rlly lebanon itself

i feel like a jerk for sayin that bc it's my home but just idk man?? i'm back now but i'm sad and i hate how the sun sets so early here like?? wth?? i miss the maritimes already and even the name is cuter it sounds like merry times and the sun sets so late there

i mean i love some parts of lebanon like my grandma's house in the mountains which is rlly pretty but right now all i can think of is that it's just generally so hot and dirty and noisy and i'm so angry rn like gee back to daily power outages and getting looked at funny for not wearing girly clothes bc of how undeveloped and judgmental society here is i can't wait : )

i miss canada it was so friendly and green and it had tim hortons :c

anyway i'm so tired and i'm gonna go to bed now and tomorrow i'm prob gonna realize that this was more of a jet lag-induced whining session than anything else but sigh :c

Eh, I don't blame you. Canada sounds like a nice place to be to me. I mean. . . The Middle East can be a troubling place to live altogether. For me to feel at home, I'd probably need to run my own private island protected by my own national military.

Awww, maybe one day in the future you and your buddies can move to Canada! Or at least maybe Lebanon can get their electricity under control, and maybe things will get greener around there. I know exactly how you feel, this is pretty much me when I visit my family in Florida. It's like, I miss them so much and wish I could see them more and that my parents could be a part of my children's lives, but I don't want to live in a place like that anymore! I live with (mostly) civilized people now!
