I don't know if this is the correct place to post this, but I just want to know. Screenshots on games, when posting them. Some games that are in the database as you know are quite violent. I recently uploaded a ton of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, for those that have played it, you know the game isn't really NSFW at times, it can be crude, with fecal matter, blood, gore, etc. So I was wondering when I do upload screenshots, is there a limit on content wise on what we can post? Or since it's a game, and it's in the database it won't be an issue. Just want to know for later.

As far as I know, the only taboo thing is nudity. The rest is seemingly accepted because of the different ESRB ratings provided for each game, which remark that the content may have dangerous scenes like the ones you mention.

I myself try to avoid any excessive violence or other controversial things before uploading screenshots, but I guess it's all a matter of "tastes" and how much of the game you want to show.

Of course later on there will be some Manhunt (PS2) screenshots, and Soldier of Fortune (PC) etc, and those games are very violent.

If there is nudity in the screenshot, don't upload it. You can check for nudity before uploading it.

I understand your concern about screenshots for gory, violent, or otherwise 'inappropriate' games, which is why for screenshots which appear on the RGR index page (the top part which list latest screenshot) they appear as a broken image if the game has a Mature rating. I guess my point is if you are uploading screenshots to a game page in the VGR, please don't upload stuff that is way too gory.
