Sorry if this question already asked, but I just couldn`t find it, as well as any FAQ about emulators.
Here`s the problem: when I starting Genesis netplay session with Mednafen there 3-button controller by default, and when I try change it to 6-buttons it reads that can`t be done during netplay.
Is 3-button controller only solution for Gens netplay or there IS a way to change controller to 6-buttons after all, but I just look the other way and not see it?

I believe you could press ctrl+ shift+ 1 to cycle though controller types.
Then after you select 6 button, you double click the screen to set the controls.
