We all have admirable traits, right? People are full of personality, as no two people are exactly the same. We all share ambitions, hopes, goals, dreams, desires, plans, and the like; in terms of motivation and drive, we have a lot more in common then you'd actually think. So, without further ado, let's talk about what two traits we personally adore within ourselves. For example.... let's start with myself. The first trait I like about myself is my honesty. It can be brutal and can come off as a bit insensitive, but I like living a life with no lies. No mind games, emotional manipulation.... I just deal with things, such as my emotions and opinions, with plain and simple straightforwardness. The second trait that I like is my own loyalty. No matter what happens, I like sticking close to people I trust regardless of some problems or misunderstandings. I can always be counted on to help others in need.

What are the best things about yourself, honestly? Do you have more things you especially like about yourself? Thanks for being reasonable.

I lack most human emotions therefore I am more durable and reliable, especially in logical situations.

While being an excellent logician, I can also at least lend an ear and hear your problems and try to compare them to similar ones I've had and imagine the feelings that come from that to have a better understanding of it.

Essentially what I lack in emotion I make up for in reliability.

yoshirulez! : I don't know if that's good or bad. I think the most wonderful people are the empathetic ones who experience emotions and can relate to others through their feelings. The human experience is a emotional one and those emotions are never bad. The folks who 'don't experience emotions' and aren't capable of being empathetic are the ones who usually end up as mass murders. Let emotions happen. Just sit back and see how you react to them. Try reading about Stoicism. It will probably interest you.

I think my best trait is my history of experiencing the spectrum of human emotion. I fought in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years and I have felt every emotion out there. Again, emotions aren't bad. Your reaction and the actions you take regarding them can be bad. But my experiences have made me able to hear other people, empathize, sympathize, and share their glory, their happiness, their shame, their guilt, their horror, and their misery. That makes me trustworthy and down to earth. My team and the center's members and patrons can come to me and talk and unload all their feelings and experiences knowing I'm going to be objective but I can understand where they come from. They trust me and believe in me. Nothing in this world is as valuable as trust and confidence in another person.

Ghostbear1111 : While I do understand this, I would like to put extra emphasis on the "most" part. Although I cannot relate in a lot of emotional experiences, I do have my own personal morals maintained and murder is absolutely immoral. It is immoral to emotionally, physically, or psychologically damage a human being unless it is necessary for my own survival or the survival of those close to me.

I'm not a person who hates people, I care for them dearly. I wouldn't dare hurt them intentionally, and I'm too smart to hurt them unintentionally. I see this as being one of my favorite personality traits.

I do not hold my emotions back, most of them simply do not come to me or just simply are very small and have no effect on the larger portion of my personality.

I can still be happy, have a guilty conscience, etcetera but I have a tendency not to be angry or afraid of things. I also cannot understand the feeling of envy, nor can I relate to jealousy so I don't think that all emotions are ones to be experienced often. At least not those.

So from what I know, that is at least partially accurate to stoicism, but I don't know much about it so I could be entirely wrong.
