This enemy is almost invulnerable. It’s green, has spikes on the top of it’s head, and is sort of the X series counterpart to the Gabyoall’s from the Classic series. They appear in Flame Mammoth's Stage, near the areas where there’s pipes that are dropping red, evil liquid right before the maverick boss. They are moving along this pipe, and they’ll flip around when you’re near them to hit you. It’s called a “Rolling Gabyool” in the credits of Mega Man X. It’s kinda annoying to dodge, at least from my experience. The only enemy that it can be destroyed with is the Rolling Shield, acquired from Armored Armadillo.

List of appearances
Mega Man X (SNES)
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (PSP)
