This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. People are stupid, always have been stupid, and always will be stupid. I'm not saying everyone is stupid, but there's a lot more of them than we need, that's for sure XD
I'm sure the guy catching a pidgey while his wife was giving birth will make an excellent father lol.

I used to work with a guy who would literally play Pokémon on his Game Boy Advance while driving around delivering pizza. Yes, he would literally play the game while he was driving around, and for hours at a time (which is probably worse than texting in terms of how dangerous it is). He even got an adapter for his car, just so he could charge the thing, while playing it, while driving around. Since he was in good with the boss, he'd even be playing it inside the store while on the clock if we were even the slightest bit slow.

To be fair, the dude was an absolute tool, but still, it was pretty above and beyond your average stupidity. I always wanted to kick him in the groin for playing while he was at work / driving
