Hey!! I came across this Playstation Emulator and the site includes the already converted roms to RAR files? Any ideas if any of this can be used?? plenty of games too!

It is not possible to get these roms on Vizzed. Not only would the server cost skyrocket, but people would literally be waiting hours for their games to load. People who don't understand how things work would just whine and complain.

also, If you want ROMs, go to Get-Your-Rom.com. It is ran by Davideo7, the same person who runs this site, so you know it is safe.

what i don't understand is if the ps1 and n64 were in the same era why would it take minutes to load one and hours to load the other this is not a complaint but more of a question

N64 is a cartridge based system, however PS1's were disc based systems, so it means it would be harder to load.

There's been ideas of muting the music and cutting the cutscenes out of PS1 games to make them playable over here.

Putting PSone on the RGR would be a waste of time and bandwidth. They may be in the same era but any system powered by CDs is in the form of ISOs. ISOs are possible to put up, but every game played would skyrocket the server cost, as Chronabis said. Yoshi1098 would love to play Megaman x4 and x5 (Playstation). I would love to play Mario Sunshine and Animal Crossing (Gamecube). And knowing Davideo7 by his profile picture, he would love to put Shenmue (Dreamcast) on there. These games have something in common, they are ISOs and as fun as playing a CD based system would be, it wouldn't in reality because of horrifying load times.

lets get things straight. Even though it be great to have PS1 games on the site David can not afford it plus it would be to cumbersome for most the people trying to play the game. Remember also a Disc most likely holds more space meaning higher cost maybe sometime in the far future but, highly unlike now we will have them on the site if the mods and David want it so.
