pennylessz: Hanging isn't cruelty for him. You seemed to miss the sex offender part, the multiple assaults, and the robbery, and instead you slate it off as "Still it's sad when people in possession of weed can go to jail for life." Hanging isn't cruelty. Think, which one is a better deterrent? Going to sleep, or hanging there for minutes on end in agony? Criminals need to be punished, not spared. Why is that so hard to understand? Also, the reason people would end up choking is because they basically just hired guys who didn't know what they were doing to perform the hanging. It's actually pretty simple. Get the rope tight around two vertebrae, and snap. I won't debate the death penalty any more here though. if you'd like to do that, take it to PMs, since it'd be off topic.

"But why would he have notified the officer first?" Why? Because he has a concealed carry, and his licence plate says so, and as a result he wants to make it seem like he was reaching for his gun. I don't know his reasoning, but I wonder why the woman started recording after the officer fired, hm? While you could say she was trying to get the officer charged, it seems more likely she wanted to miss the part about her boyfriend pulling a gun. The officer wouldn't have fired if he hadn't been threatened. He, unlike the woman, was very obviously distressed, so he obviously didn't want to have to kill anyone that day.
