Since we are now so close to the release of Pokemon Go, and a ton of reveals and beta tests having already been done, it seems like a good time to start talking about this game again. Who is excited? A lot of rumors and stuff said that the game could be released this month, and when I was looking up news on the game, I found a website that did a statistical breakdown of Nintendo’s upcoming events to find what days would be possible for a release, and what days would be bad for a release. What they found was that it’s very likely that Pokemon Go gets released between July 13th and July 20th, so if it turns out that they were right, or at least close to the right answer, we don’t have to wait long to finally play the game.

I have seen all sorts of game play footage from the betas and I think the game looks even better than I thought it did before the betas started and as a result, I fully expect to get the game on my iphone if I can and if it doesn’t take up too much space.

For about two weeks now, places such as Gamestop have already been accepting pre orders for the Pokemon Go Plus, which costs $35 and it’s a wireless Bluetooth receiver that looks just like a Poke Ball. All that it really does though is gives you notifications of what’s happening in the game, so that you can do stuff such as picking up items without looking at your phone. It will vibrate whenever you find something and you just press a button.

Honestly, I don’t think that’s worth it AT ALL, I mean I’m sure 90 percent of people look at their phones at all times, so there’s no reason to buy something that requires you to not look at your phone. But who knows, maybe a few here and there will buy it just to wear and look good.

What are your thoughts of the game so far? What did you think of all of the beta footage? Do you like the game and plan on downloading it when it comes out? No....I dunno if I would download it to my phone. It depends though I might get it. Its been a while since I have played a modern pokemon game. So I am debating weather I should really get it. Since I wouldn't know a lot of other pokemon from other regions and stuff like that. I'll just have to wait and see what happens later on to do with that decision. And when I have made up my mind I'll tell you what my answer is. '-'

Eniitan : There's only like 120 Pokemon, and I think they are all from the same region.

zanderlex : Hmm....I see I thought it would be more than that. Because you know...thats how the games have been nowadays. Thanks for telling me this it does help. When I can I'll try and see if I can download the game or if my phone has space... @.@

zanderlex : I downloaded it on my phone about 15 or so hours ago, last night. As of right now, my phone says I've caught a certain amount of Pokemon out of 250 so I assuming there's at least 250 now lol

But yeah I wasn't really excited about it at first, but I talked to one of my good friends yesterday and he told me it was really fun. So I decided to give it a try, and I like it so far. I mean its not the greatest thing ever but its interesting. In fact, on my way to work this morning I tried playing it while I was driving and long story short, I probably won't be doing that anymore XD

Eniitan : I think its worth at least a try. I haven't played Pokemon since G / S / C and so far, I'm hooked on it lol And I'm pretty sure that in future updates they may incorporate more Pokemon but for right now, my phone says they have 250.

MattyIce : That's odd, I just checked my pokedex and it only goes up to 127.

I found my pokemon in the trash and bathroom, it's a good start so far!

All the pokemon super close to me or kind of basic ones though, the better ones are somewhere close but I'd feel a bit silly walking around my apartments trying to find that an eevee. I'll see what happens when I'm in a bigger city later today haha, maybe I'll find something better since it's more populated. 

Cap'n : Lucky, those are good places. One of the places I found a Pokemon, I got robbed in.

zanderlex : I've looked at mine again, and it could be that you can only hold 250 Pokemon at once maybe. Because I go to my party and up at the top left it says "Pokemon 20 / 250." But when I go to my Pokedex, it only goes up to #060. I think that's only because I've caught a Poliwag and that's the highest number in the Pokedex that I've caught so far.

So that might be it. There might be no way to tell exactly how much Pokemon possible there is...its just your Pokedex goes up to the highest number based on the Pokedex# of the Pokemon.

I don't know. Nevermind...I'm stupid. The bottom line is I like this game so far and ima keep playing it lol

MattyIce : Wait what?! 250?! Um...I dunno now if I wanna play....but hey its always worth trying and not to assume anything just yet of the game. I guess there is only one way to find out and that is by playing them game itself... @.@

Eniitan : Even if it is 250, that's nothing, that's still just the first couple of games from the Game Boy Color.

Pretty cool update here. Some gamers have designed a map to find pokestops and gyms. Of course it's nowhere near being done, but people are adding more and more locations each day.

Lord Leggy - King of IT : Lol, wow, if your phone is fully updated, the android that it runs is literally a decimal point too outdated. Not a bad thing though, because even on the newest models, the game has sooo many bugs already.

Am I the only one who can't even load the game besides leggy? I have a galaxy s6.
