I have noticed that there is no sega saturn emulator on this site. I was wondering why there isnt one and if there is one being worked on and if so is it coming any time soon?

creating an emulator isn't the problem... the problem is that it is really hard to emulate a cd sized game over the internet. They consoles that we can do have to all be cartridge based because of size.

Yep, there's a problem.
Optical disks are alot larger then your standard game, even a small game can be 100mb.
With files that large our monthly server bandwidth would go very quickly plus loading times would be pretty long.
Imagine with a large RPG, those are 700mb each game, we would use all our bandwidth in a day
Add to that the fact that CD / DVD systems need alot of extra plugins built into them to work and that merging a Sega Saturn emulator with its BIOS file may be incredibly difficult.

We do however offer these optical disk based games for download from our other site, http://www.get-your-rom.com/ for those that wish to play them.

The Sega Mega Drive and the Sega Genesis are the same console, just named differently.

The reason the console was released in North America under the name Sega Genesis was because Sega was unable to secure legal rights to the Mega Drive name in that region.
