Hey there, my name's Ben, and this account hasn't been touched in at least two years. I found a really old thread of mine where I introduced myself, and then disappeared off the face of the planet, but I guess I'm back. This site's a bit confusing to be honest, and I have a couple questions:

-Is there a detailed, in-depth rules post somewhere, with an explanation and the punishments for breaking them? Because I can only find the thing in the FAQ that says "DO: Follow all the rules of the board and forums" which isn't exactly helpful, and the sticky on this category, which I appreciate more, but l still have questions. What qualifies as adult content? Just swearing and procreation, or is there other topics not allowed, such as making references to violence and alcohol? I checked everywhere relevant and used Google, and it didn't come up with anything. 

-Is there any way at all I can change the gender on my profile? It's wrong. Also, are username changes possible?

But I'm sure those will be answered in time. I don't really remember how I originally found this site, but I really do love getting to play Nintendo games for free, and I appreciate this place for that. I might end up doing some Nuzlocke runs on those Pokemon hacks, and maybe even get around to playing more Zelda like I've promised myself that I'd do for the past year or so. I guess I'd have to do that on play.rom.online, though? What's up with that?

For your first question, each forum can have a determined set of rules in regards to the kinds of posts and/or threads that can be made. The general rules are simple: no spamming (very few words, off-topic and the like), no swearing and of course no flaming/insulting other users. About adult content, just remember there are some users in here that are barely 13 years old, so adapt your posts and threads to be viewable by such public and you'll be fine.

For your second question, user profiles are currently being revamped. I know that changing usernames was one of the things we could be granted, of course with certain limitations. As of now, changing genders was only available to the owner himself, but it could be available to the admins after the revamp. I'm sure we'll get an announcement when the changes are made, so keep an eye open for them and also for the News and Updates forum for any threads that might appear regarding this.

Play.rom.online is an external site that was made to work similarly to Vizzed. Since Nintendo took down thousands of their games on Vizzed, that site decided to host them for us and let us continue to play them.

First off, you are always watched, we have 400 nukes strapped to sharks and all are pointed at you right now.  Each forum has their own rules. All the major ones are visible to your left in any posting page. Don't spam, flame others, post porn, all that. Basically, keep it PG-13 and you'll be all good.

Second off, the profile editing stuff is kind of broken at the moment. We're working on it though. I would PM Davideo7 about changing your gender though.

EX Palen hit your third question on the head. Earlier this year Nintendo made us take down the Nintendo roms. But that place makes it possible for you guys to keep playing.
