Hi! Sorry if this thread exists already. Whats everyone's top five bands/singers/groups? why did you pick your number one? Have you seen them live? I picked:

1)Led Zeppelin
2)Iron Maiden
3)Black Sabbath
4)KISS
5)Metalica

I chose Led Zeppelin as they are simply class! Think they have a great sense of rhythm, are all very talented and can cheer me up when everything turns to muck! Unfortunately I won't see the original line up, but there has been talk of a reformation without John Bonham and Robert Plant - even that would be ace to see. I have seen Iron Maiden twice, but my dream of seeing KISS has been ruled out by their gig date in Scotland being the night before my final exams - I had to put on my mature hat and say no.

My mom grew up with the original drummer (David Silveria) from Korn. (I just showed her a recent picture of him and she was freaking out. she said 'Oh my God... He's a man now' LOL)

I really like CoB. That's some good headbangin music

Boston probably isn't #5 but I couldn't think of anything else and I am currently listening to Foreplay/Long Time (great song btw). I really like a lot of their songs. If I can think of another band I like better then I will update this post

Stolen Babies have one of the most unique sounds I've ever heard. They basically take everything I like in a band and combine it in one, female vocals, screams (all done by Dominique Persi <3), strange instruments (accordion), and a cool look (dark circus clowns...NOT like ICP).

Linkin Park is amazing live. I used to be into rap but when i heard a song from linkin park it changed my music interests around.

Slipknot's vocalist is amazing.

Alesana has some intense screaming.

Trivium's vocalist can sing and do screaming vocals.

Saosin's singer has a really good voice

Yeah I know, It's a lot. If I put all my favorite bands, the post would be at least three-times as long... You can see though that I like mostly classic stuff though. If you agree with my taste in music (well the rock, metal, and grunge genres anyway) you can thank my dad for having me grow up around that stuff for as long as I can remember. I still go home and pull out some rock records and enjoy 'em. =)
