So, I can't give away too much info since it doesn't actually air until July 4th which is still more than a week away, but what I can say is pretty awesome. Yesterday I was at the taping for the Macy's 4th of July TV show, which airs along with the fireworks.

I took one of my friends and we spent the night meeting some swell people such as Pitbull and Meghan Trainor as well as the Rockettes and we had an awesome night of music and dancing.

Sounds like it was a good time lol. I'd really like to do something like this myself, though at the moment I'm quite limited in opportunities. I assume you can't say anything because they don't want any information about the show leaked before it airs? I'm not going to watch it personally, but I can't wait for all the fireworks and celebration ^^

I have only been to one in my life, I was the Thanksgiving one 4-5 years ago and I hated it because there's was so many people that I couldn't get anywhere close enough to the front to see anything good and was only able to see the balloons, not even able to see the ground stuff, like the floats and bands. Decided on that day that I was never going to go to another parade again, and soon after that I lost interest in watching them on TV as well.
