A while back, I tried to access Final Fantasy Origins but the screen said that I didn't have the plug in installed. So I downloaded the latest plugin and everything worked fine. But then the day after (or later) the exact same thing happened: the screen told me I didn't have the plug in.

What is happening? I can always end up playing but I find it annoying. I used Chrome for Win 8.1

My suggestion is quite simple: try a different browser - specifically Firefox, as it is often most recommended. Of course, if you wish to proceed using Chrome, you can always uninstall Chrome and reinstall it again, because there might be a slight bug in the browser. However, a third option is to bring up the installation program you used for the RGR, and "repair" the plugin. Be sure to install the plugin with Chrome, since you are using Chrome and the plugin is mostly installed with the browser you use to install it (this is just in most cases, not always).

You can also try to install version 2.40.
2.41 I believe was a fix for Internet Explorer, so 2.40 should work fine (if not better).
