Yeah, a good 2 or 3 hours can get you back to where you were.

I'm gonna get Cid playing this game, I hooked him up and set the game up at his house, and I bought him a controller today, he's registered as 'Jimbo (cid)'

Yeah, it usually takes about a day...took me 16 hours though.

Your characters name afftects your section ID, your section ID determines what drops from monsters you get.

It is only like to 80% now. My brother turned off the computer. Glad he didn't just cancel the download. I would of been mad after I already had half of it.

So, how do I know what would be a good name? Will 'Davideo7' leave me good items?

Each letter/number in your name have a value. The section ID you get is determined by the left most column of your total. PSO World has a plethora of guides on section ID's.

Some section ID's will cause certain items to drop,example: so with a ranger it helps to have a section ID that gets rifles/gun drops.

Did you guys email the guy about the serial and access numbers?

Also How do I get the Windows Mode to work?

And I am trying to decide between a Ranger and a Hunter. Which would be more useful if I actually get to play sometime.

Well i chose hunter because i played ranger on teh GC.


I suggest ranger because most ppl useually use guns at start anyway.

I emailed the guy and he hasn't emailed me back yet. Also how can I set it up so that I can use my keyboard? I couldn't figure it out. I don't have the any money to buy a controller right now.

Your keyboard should be configured automatically, also your supposed to run offline.online patch to play the game. You should need a special serial or anything.

I didn't need any serial to play the game, it was weird.

I am using the windows mode thing. So I should be able to just click online? I should pick the trial server right? When I try to do it that way fromt the windows mode, it comes up and I hit enter then try to start a game either by continuing or new and it shows the screen that is loading the game then freezes. Do I have to enter a special address or something?

About the serial thing I asked David and he said he did so I did.

Here is what I think about the character classes
THE CLASSES

Force = Best for a party of 4 that doesn't have one already, week in one and 2 player. I personally think they are the funnest to play though
Ranger = good for leveling, decent single player and decent multiplayer, I like this class but hey, I LIKE ALL

HUnter = Kicks butt in single player, hard to level if you are weak and playing with strong people. The most physically powerful, Best for single player and the worst for a party of 4, in my opinion. Its best to have a balanced party though.

Magic users VS. Robots.

Robots are much simple to use and I would reccomend one for starting out. Since you don't have to worry about magic you can use all your customizations for mates and moon atomizers. ITs handy to just go "WOOP" and your friend is rezerected. SO in my opinion magic users are more fun, but robots are just SOOO COOL!!!
