I have a code that pretty much goes like this:

echo Holk Hogen: Okay, I'm going to throw a punch at you. Try to block it within 10 seconds using B.
pause
cls
echo Holk Hogen: Okay, now!
SET /T timeout 10=
if %10% == B goto tf3
if else goto tf3f

I want to be able to have the user press B within ten seconds. Help?

Hm... I'm not well-versed on batch... but maybe the command you're looking for is "timeout /t 10"?

On a different note: Why use batch anyway...? Object-oriented languages like Python and Java should be easier for this type of task (not to mention they have more tutorials floating around the web).

There would be no variable. You can't specify a specific key input when using the timeout command, all it does is wait for specific time until a key press has been detected, or if declared with /nobreak, it will pause the system despite having multiple key presses. You'd need the choice command instead.
