So i realised that this is way too much for a single person to do and that it always helps to have a few other people to share their opinion...

Needs to make threads about members new and old that have had a significant role on vizzed. 
Also to help me come up with more ideas that can be interesting to look at and perhaps create.

Needs to be able to help with things such as VCS, Previous Mods, and other achievements on the site.

These will be the two roles that are really needed on this site honestly.... If you have some spare time or just want to contribute let me know.

I'd like to contribute.... But I don't know how to. I'm not too creative, but i'm good at responsibility, and practicality. If there is something I can do, I'd love to assist!

I absolutely love statistics, but since I don't know much about the history of this site, I'm not sure if I can retrieve the needed information by myself. I do remember the people I've seen around the mod forums at some point or another, and I'm willing to dig into the VCS history, but that's all I can offer.

I think I'd do a better job as a thread creator. I'm a bit new so as to know much details about gone users, so again I lack first-hand information, but if I manage to retrieve it, for example by asking other users I'm close with and did share some time with them, my skills at writing would do the rest.

Whatever the role we select, do you plan on setting us some sort of timetable, like 1-2 threads every month, or as long as we work on it we can take our time? Just saying because free time is not on my side right now, so I can only guarantee I'll work on my role even if it's a tiny bit every day.

Specific dates would be one thing, worth looking into, I guess, but the bulk of the information is there.

legacyme3 : Interesting thread, but I don't think it's fair to have just the top 3 of each edition added. If our point is to remember what happened in the VCS, then I say aim for the top 10 of each edition, just like the TdV Hall of Fame does.

Also, take into account that the VCS was incredibly competitive, in a whole different level compared to recent TdVs, so a top 10 there was a lot more important than a top 10 in a TdV nowadays. We not only have this forum to remember, but to give newer users a glimpse of how Vizzed was in the past.

Normally, I'd agree, and be all-inclusive, but I don't think the top 10 is all that relevant. The top 3 was usually super-competitive, whereas the top 10 is usually a level of relative mediocrity. It would be like tracking who finished third or fourth in the blue jersey race in the TdV.

History matters, but that might be taking it a bit too far. With the TdV, the top 10 is based upon the overall results of 4 different ways of scoring, so that someone who destroyed one category can be remembered, even if they weren't top 5 overall.

With the VCS, it was basically just the blue jersey, in a time of no reward but "bragging rights". We wouldn't track the top 10 in blue jersey in a TdV, in a HoF would we? Just seems a little too much effort for something that's a little less important.

It may have been more active back then, but I still don't think it's really all that relevant, in the grand scope of things. Top 10 really wasn't that hard to crack in the VCS days, it's actually probably harder to score in the TdV because you only have 5 scoring slots per category, as opposed to 10 in the VCS. And while, yes, I understand 20 > 10, 10 > 5. Just as it is easier to score on a point basis in the TdV, to do it in a specific category is understandably harder.

I'd be interested in creating some threads here and there. I have a near encyclopedic knowledge of the site and everybody in it, from spin off sites to members that aren't here anymore.
