He has usually squandered around the lower mid card, and evidence of this is when he won the Intercontinental Championship after being inserted into a ladder match he wasn't originally supposed to be a part of after Neville injured his ankle, then losing the title to The Miz the next night. He has found success on NXT however, teaming with Mojo Rawley as the Hype Bros.
