Old country or Outlaw country is the only country music I will really listen to. The new stuff today I can't stand, it's too "pop" for me. I am mostly a metal head, but I love listening to Johnny Cash, ranging from the old stuff to everything he did before he passed away. I also like Hank Williams, Hank Williams Jr., Hank Williams III, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, George Jones, Charlie Daniels and I know I am missing a few others. I also like stuff from outlaw country musicians that are quite a bit younger. Wayne Hancock, Bob Wayne, and there are others too. It's just so much better then the garbage today lol.

I have never been into country music honestly,but I must agree with Heavy Metal Gamer,today's 'country' is garbage. I think the only country song I ever liked was "As The Thunder Rolls".
