So, some of you might have noticed I wasn't online at all for all of Sunday. (Maybe you didn't ^^
I drove for 4 hours to go to PAX East in Boston, MA.
I always wanted to go and when I was offered a ticket, I jumped on the opportunity and went, even though it was for one day and I hoped I would do the whole weekend one day.

Well, now that I have experienced it, I have to say "Meh..."
It was an interesting experience for sure, but it wasn't the experience I was hoping for.
The whole event felt like it was just a really big ad. The vendors didn't even have any really cool items and I don't recall seeing anything exclusive except some crappy exclusive event pins... (yay )

I also have to mention, after all the years they have been doing this, you would think they would have been a lot more organized. Everything was so chaotic. The staff had no idea what they were doing, the booths were a mess and crammed together... the list goes on... but its been a really long day...

I will say though, Blizzard had some pretty awesome Overwatch themed Lamborginis driving around Boston... kinda sad that was the highlight to me, but there had to be something good... right?

That's part of why I'm always so reluctant to go to one of these conventions. I'm sure it was fun in some ways but I think my expectations would be higher than the resulting convention. Although I'm sure there are people who attend these sorts of conventions that I wouldn't mind meeting if I had the chance. I'm not a big "celebrity" person but I do follow some youtubers who might be at one of these things that would be fun to meet.

Lol, loser, :p I've been wanting to go to this for years for some of the panels. I don't even care for the booths, just some of the events. It sucks that it wasn't what you were hoping for, but remember, you go to comic com, you're used to big things, not smaller ones.

geeogree :
I think my expectations were just high.  If it wasn't overhyped all these years, I might have not been so disappointed.
There were tons of those youtube and twitch people there. My brother met some popular twitch streamer that he mods a channel for.

zanderlex :
I think they just got too big for their own good and I hate panels... it feels like I'm back in college listening to a lecture.
