When I was seven, my parents gave me a gba and my first game was pokemon ruby. I played and played. Some people stop after beating the elite four, and others like to try to fill the pokedex but I was determined to do both. I trained and traded and one of the most magical moments for me was catching latios. It was great. I guess I could say my parents got me hooked on pokemon and I never stopped.

When I was about six I just watched the show and I enjoyed it because it looked more lively then the original and I didn't like the old one because it looked dullish.

I got into Pokemon when I was about 4 or 5. I was at the mall with my Mom and there was Pokemon Booster packs, and I thought they looked cool, so she got me two (little did she know it would be my childhood obsession). After collecting the cards for a bit I saw the gold and silver games in Wal-mart and I just had to have them, so my Dad ended up getting Pokemon gold for me. I have stopped playing with the cards as much, but I still play the games on a regular basis.
