A heart shaped sunspot has been found on the Sun. I've seen sunspots in all kinds of shapes, but never a heart before. I have an amusing thought, do you think the Sun is showing it's love for the Solar System with this, or did they just catch this at the right moment or the spot will change shape just like a cloud does? Anyway, here's the link to this video.

LordGaldan : Oh my gosh, I was literally looking at this video while I was checking the weather a few minutes ago! What a coincidence lol. That's pretty cool that it's in the shape of a heart.

On a side note, your post was also ironic as your layout was a layout about Space, and you were talking about the Sun. I don't know if this was intentional, but it struck me.

I am a Christian and a Biologist so I think there are two ways to look at this.

First of all the heart could symbolize God's love for us as he gave us light. As in the Bible God said let there be light. Then we read on and flowers start to grow then the animals appear. We need light as plants need it to grow. We as humans need the light because its rich in vitamin D

Now, from a science perspective, the Sun has had different shapes on it before. A good example is sometimes the sun gets marks on it that take the shape of things due to solar storms. What will be interesting is to see if this spot on the sun is permanent. Jupiter and Neptune have permanent spots on them but these are gigantic storms. So its possible this could be just the result of a solar storm or a permanent spot. I believe God created everything and they are some things that are supposed to be a mystery to us.

That's really cool but i think its just a coincidence, it doesn't really take much effort to turn one of them into any given shape so i think it just happened to look like that at that moment. Up until very recently, people wouldn't have had the technology to even see that, so I doubt it could have been anything else.

Seems like mere coincidence to me. Changing the angle you look at something can change the way it's perceived. Also space is so vast I'm sure we'll find many other amazing images similar to this as technology progresses.
On a side note, my dog was born on Valentine's day, and the fur on her back curves into the shape of a heart. I always thought that was an amazing coincidence as well.
