I'm giving anyone who wants access to play PlayStation games on Vizzed an opportunity to earn the PlayStation item. Normally you'd have to spend 50,000 Viz for the PlayStation item in the Item Shop in order to get access to the nearly 2500 PS1 games that Vizzed has available.

Here's how this will work. Send me 5000 Viz and I'll let you "rent" the PlayStation item for 1 month. If you do any of the below requirements, you get to keep it!

There are a few reasons why I can't give every user access to PlayStation games but the primary reason is that it'd suck up a lot of bandwidth and bandwidth usage costs me money. The server fees for this site and for hosting the PS1 games is already expensive and PS1 games are pretty large in file size (10-20 times larger than N64 games). So the best way to limit how many users are playing PS1 games is by unfortunately forcing users to earn it.

Requirements to Keep it:
-Write 3 Reviews of PS1 games of at least 2000 Words (should have good spelling/grammar)
-Write 6 Reviews of PS1 games of at least 1000 Words (should have good spelling/grammar)
-Do 15 hours worth of PS1 netplay multiplayer with other users
-Stream 20 hours worth of PS1 games to Twitch or Hitbox *
-Stream 10 hours worth of PS1 games while netplaying with other users *
-Submit 10 hours worth of PS1 gameplay videos to the Vizzed YouTube Channel (should have little idle time)
-Take a total of 120 screenshots among 12 different PS1 games (screenshots should be unique from each other)
-Write 2 Walkthroughs for PS1 games of at least 2,500 Words each
-Write 1 Walkthrough of at least 5,000 Words for a PS1 game
*You'll have to give me proof by archiving your stream videos. You'll also have to make sure that Vizzed.com is being advertised in both the stream video and the stream page itself.

EDIT: I just dropped all of the requirements in half.

If you want to do a combination of more than 1 option from the above list, let me know and we can work something out. If you want a suggestion on which one to pick then I'd suggest the 'Stream 10 hours worth of PS1 games while netplaying' since that's probably the quickest one to do and also because I would like to see more users netplaying PS1 games, especially since there are just so many good multiplayer games for the system.

Halolimnic : Yeah I was hoping to try and word it so that users wouldn't get that impression.

I really like the sounds of this idea, it let's people try out the playstation, which has a library of amazing games in my opinion, it is one of the best systems on here. If anyone has any questions on what type of games they should try out, just send me a message I have a lot of classics on that system you can try out. Anything from horror to RPG. Just to name a few on here I suggest Suikoden 1 and 2 as well as SIlent Hill or Resident Evil.

Lycan212 : What I'm hoping for the most is that users record themselves netplaying PlayStation games. I really would like to see more users netplay PlayStation games because netplay works great for the system and there are just 100s of great multiplayer games.

Davideo7 : Sounds good, I can start doing that, haven't did multiplayer on the psx yet, but as you said a lot of good games for it especially fighting games.

I just added another option:
-Do 30 hours worth of PS1 netplay multiplayer with other users

Haha, if you had done this three months earlier I might have been able to play more PS1 games for my YouTube channel! Thankfully, though, I've already used 50k Viz to use the PS1 item.

free2rule : Just go to his page (click on his name) and then scroll down, you'll see "Wire viz" or something like that. Just type in the amount and the reason for wiring the viz, say that you want to rent ps1 or something like that. Should be easy enough.

Quite the requirements there. 30 hours worth of netplay with this console is rather easy for the many multiplayer games we have, and streaming is even easier because you can play solo. The four requirements directed at videos should be people's first choice.

EX Palen : 30 hours of netplay to me seems like the easiest choice. That's an average of 1 hour per a day or 7 hours a week and you're basically not having to do anything except have a lot of fun with other users. I'm really hoping users do one of the requirements that involve netplay because I really want to see users do more netplay, especially PlayStation games. Netplay is one of the coolest features on Vizzed and I feel like it's overlooked. A lot of users don't know what they're missing out on.

I am glad to see you bringing back this challenge, because it is one well worth undertaking! =)
I did try to complete it the last time it was around, sadly I did not succeed--but it was still a lot of fun.
Besides, I have since bought the item itself and have gotten many, many hours of enjoyment out of it.
I highly encourage anyone to take on this PlayStation challenge: even if it isn't beaten, it is still a blast to try!
