Double click doesn't work. Help setting up an xbox one controller with Majora's Mask

I had started playing Majora's Mask a year ago using Mupen 64. Back then, I was able to double click to access the menu to configure settings with my keyboard. I haven't played in about a year, and I now have an xbox one controller that I would like to try and use with it. The controller drivers and software is now installed on my computer, but I can't get it to work on RGR. I have tried rice, arachnoid, and glide 64 which are the other plugins that are linked at the top right and neither will allow me to double click to open a menu.

Anyone have any ideas? I am using FireFox. Chrome just tells me I am using an outdated version of RGR (which I am not, I have the most recent version) and IE doesn't work.

As far as I know you can't configure the controls with mupen64 by doubleclicking the screen.
I was looking it up a while ago and only found this pretty complicated way to do it:

I haven't tried it but i guess this will work.
