Why doesn't Pokemon Diamond work, and why don't we have Platinum and Pearl here?

I don't know all that much about roms, so I'm just ill-educated on the subject if there's an obvious reason.

The Pokemon Diamond on here is a hack of one of the Gameboy games (can't remember which one right now), not the DS version. So, what you really want to know is why we don't have DS games on here, correct? In that case, then that's for two reasons: 1. there is no emulator available that would work in the RGR for DS, and 2. having a DS emulator up while DS systems and games are still being produced would be illegal. As for why Diamond doesn't work, could you please give us more information, such as what operating system and browser you're using, and what problems are occurring?

Therefore, when putting GBA games up, we are not stealing any profit from Nintendo or the other companies making games. However, when putting DS roms up, we would be stealing their profit, even if we didn't profit from it, because more people would just come here and play them, and would stop buying the systems/games.

Ok, that makes sense. I'm running Google Chrome but when I go to Diamond, it doesn't give me the opportunity to play it using javaboy or rgr, it just says "this game has been reported as not working"

The game won't play unless a RGR staff member or one of the Vizzed staff goes in and changes the game from "Reported not working" to "Working".
This isn't likely to happen until the emulator plays it properly. Sorry.

The other thing you should consider is that the Pokemon Diamond hack in the RGR is not the same game as the DS version.
It is actually a completely different game and is nothing like the real Pokemon Diamond.

That's probally because you are RGR staff, you would be able to play games that are marked not working so you can test them.
And from what you experienced with the freezing white screen we know that the reported not working was needed.
I get the Reported not working instead of a play game link.
