The government is asking for public opinion about its DMCA law, and if you've been on Youtube, you know it's been abused to no end to countless content creators, from being used to threaten, harass, strongarm and even as ransom. We need to make our voices heard against this fossilized law, as it hasn't evolved with today's internet.
This is NOT an April Fool's joke, and other corporations have had the gall to even suggest the DMCA be even more restrictive. We need more voices to convince Washington to
update this law so that people aren't scared to make ANY content anymore in fear of some random jerk taking it down with ease, posing as some random company with no consequence.
