Hi guys!

I hope this is the right place for technical issues with RGR. If not, please tell me the right place and/or move it appropriately, thanks.

After many attempts, I never got a single game to run in Vizzed (in two of my computers). Some friends in the chat tried to help me, but it failed. I know it's not a site problem, it's just something with me and my computers. Well, here are some details:

- I already tried in computers with 2 different OS: (Windows 7 and Windows XP);
- I tried with the latest versions of these browsers: Firefox Mozilla and Internet Explored (also with latest Google Chrome);
- I tried many different consoles / systems;
- I tried many different games (lower size to higher size);
- I tried different ways / emulators, like these:
   "Using Mednafen Emulator > [NO CHATBOX]"
   "Using Mednafen Emulator > [SPEND 0 VIZ]"
   "Using MESS Emulator > [NO CHATBOX]"
   "Using MESS Emulator > [SPEND 0 VIZ]"
   "Click Here to Compete for Speed Run"
   (and other emulators, when trying other systems)
   "Java / Flash Emulators" I prefer avoid and don't try it. Also, it's not good emulation in my opinion;
- I already tried with the current RGR plugin (2.41), and also with other previous versions;
- I tried to install the plugin in the default path, and also in other paths of my computers;
- I edited settings of browser cookies;
- I edited settings of browser pop-ups / add-ons;
- I edited settings of anti-virus pop-ups / add-ons / allowed programs/paths/folders;
- I updated Java player;
- I updated Flash player;
- I ever run without problems games in other sites similar to Vizzed.

Well, it's all that I remember for now.
I get the right "Vizzed Retro Game Room" window, with the "Reset", "Close", "Log", "Recordtart" buttons in the bottom part, the "Vizzed RGR Plugin Version: 2.41" text, and the status...
"Starting emulator...", then "Emulator Closed." By the way this is the main factor in all my attempts: "Emulator Closed." text appear after some seconds, too soon.

Just an example of a log from one attempt, using the "Click Here to Compete for Speed Run" option, in a Master System game:

11:28:31.072 - Found ROM in local cache.
11:28:31.179 - Checking ROM archive file...
11:28:31.199 - Done checking ROM archive...

11:28:31.200 - Starting Emulator (SegaMasterSystem).
11:28:31.504 - Emulator Closed.

Well, feel free to ask me more details if necessary. And / or give me some tips to solve this problem. I'm almost giving up, but I hope someone could help me to find the issue.

I don't know if this will help or not, but when you downloaded the plugin, did you have browsers open? A few months ago, I had a similar issue with playing games, and when I re-downloaded the plugin, this time with no browsers open, the games worked fine.

Disable your anti virus then try it.
It might be blocking the plugin.
If it works, then we can look into adding exceptions to your anti virus program.

Thank you Vanelan, totally disabling anti-virus it's working now. Let's talk later how to add the right exceptions to the anti-virus, because I tried some folders, applications and URLs, and I was unable to get it working properly. Well, at least I can play just a bit now, cool!

Each AV program will have a different way to add exceptions.

But the files you want to add are located in 
C:Program Files (x86)VizzedVizzed Retro Game Room

And the programs you want to add are these three highlighted files:

Thank you sir! Now I let only these 3 .exe in the exceptions list of my anti virus, and all is running well. Let's have fun!
