I have been playing Dragon View for the SNES for a little while, and came to a spot in the desert where, after fighting the boss of the dungeon, it just stops.  I am at the Death Jester part and just beat him, trying to talk to the Dragon Lords in the next few rooms.  When I enter the room, it glitches and I can no longer continue.  I am really liking this game, simple as it may be, and would really like to complete it.  If anyone can help with this problem, that would be great, and thank you for the help

As I don't know too much, I can offer what help I can.

First, check if it's your web browser. I don't know why, but I've run into a few cases where some games just don't work right with certain browsers. Next, try the different ROMs/Emulators for the game on Vizzed. If you find one of them that works, report the broken one and hopefully it will get fixed. But other than that, it might be a problem with the game ROM/Emulator itself, not an issue on your end.

-Hope you get it fixed, I know the feeling when you can't play a game you like!
(P.S. Dragon View is really good, one of my most liked games on the SNES, actually.)

Save the state at the area/spot before it crashes with F2 and then close the game.
The file will be Dragon View (U) [!].0ddd927709d83149122e5ae1d9a1aa1a.srm

You'll find the file in this directory on your PC:
C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-454672Mednafen_newsav

You can open a Run box by holding the Windows key () and pressing the R key. In the box copy/paste (or type) that file address.

You should find the file I listed, and you can upload it to sendspace.com and then post here the download link that site will list after you upload it.

tRIUNE :   Sorry to double post, but I have a few different files.  One is a 2048 Kb SMC file.  One is a 117 KB OMC file, and the one I sent here was the 8 KB SRM file.  Not sure which one will help most.  Thank you for your help and I hope you can find what's going on.  One other thing.  I saved two rooms away this time.  Going to be up and to the left.  I am now locked into this dungeon and cannot leave.  You will be able to find it pretty easy.  It is the room with the dragon orb that tries to speak to you

Thanks for the info. I have the .srm file now and will test it soon.

The .smc is the rom, and I actually don't know what the .omc file is. Which folder is the .omc file in?

EDIT: I think you meant MC0 file. I might need that one but not sure yet.

I've tried loading the the save state in about 7 different emulators to see if maybe the bug is specific to Mednafen, but none of them could read the file. However, I'm pretty sure the bug is due to the coding of the game itself, according to what's documented here:

So the only solution I can think of is to start back at your last in-game save and work your way back to that spot, but save at the Healer at the cave top of the desert and reload the game before entering Ortah temple. There's a map available here if it helps:
