So the VB emulator finally reverted back to normal today, but now I proceed back to playing where I last saved off, I tried to change the controls of up, down, right and left after seeing one of the pads of my keyboard didn't work, but somehow, I couldn't change the controls.

Is there another way to change the controls?
The double-click way doesn't seem to work at all.

mazeppa : Sorry for the trouble you are having. This is a common issue that happens to a smaller percentage of people but we've yet to figure out what's the root cause.

Anyways, enough people reported similar issues, so someone made a thread that walks you through the process of re-configuring the controls if you are having issues with VBA. You can find that thread here https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=92870

Also, for games that you haven't started playing yet, I would advise using the "Mednafen" emulator for GBA games. Seems to work better overall and never has this controls problem.

Unfortunately though, I've started to encounter another problem.
It's the fact that my character keeps on going left even though I haven't pressed the left button at all. :/
Is there anything to fix that other than having to edit the emulator controls yet again?

mazeppa : Hmm sounds like something weird is going on with your controller/keyboard/etc or something went wrong when re-configuring. I would re-configure. That should resolve your issue.
