This happens to me when trying to play random games on different consoles after the download and extracting is finished, "Error: Failed to download server file version info."

  That happened to me just now. I got the exact same message at the bottom that you did. My response was probably a highly cognitive one because I actually tried something to get it to work.

 Since it was available to play on Mednafen, I simply clicked that option in the top left corner of the window to play it on Mednafen. Voila! It works now. Solving your troubles was a click away but you were locked into a set way of doing things in your mind. You never tried what I did.

 Next time try troubleshooting and solve it yourself when an issue like that comes up. Use those seldom activated areas of gray matter if you can. It's in there somewhere. It does not do to let a brain go dormant.

This unfortunately is a recurring error...
Try clicking the reset button at the bottom of the game window and see if that resolves it.
It might take 2 or 3 times before the game starts. (At least it worked for me).

Let us know if that works.

As Vanelan said, try resetting it a few times. Got it to work for me, but it took a little while.

I'm no RGR Tech Expert, but it seems like (from the error message) the ROM/Emulator didn't download the things needed from Vizzed correctly. This would explain why after a few resets it works, meaning it just has issues getting what it needs to run.

If I had to guess, I would say that its due to server congestion.
Its not connecting to the vizzed server to check the file sizes against what you downloaded.
